Lamb Tagine with Cous Cous

Today my family made “Lamb Tagine with couscous.” Couscous is granules of wheat (Semolina) and a staple in North African Cuisines. Today my family made a popular Moroccan Dish “Lamb Tagine”. The name Tagine originates from the pot that it’s cooked within. Tagine pot is made of natural clay with color paints. My tagine is pretty standard size with brown paint but they come in different shades and sizes. Traditional Tagine cooking is done over hot charcoal and with the top covered. The top of the tagine allows for infused steam cookign and works almost like a slow cooker.

Here is the end result with juicy cuts of lamb, vegetables, and of course CousCous.
