Masjid al-Qiblatain (المسجد القبلتین) is a beautiful mosques I visited during my trip to Saudi Arabia . This mosque is the located in Medina, Saudi Arabia and has two qiblas. A qibla is the direction in which a muslim prays. The mosques was first created to face Jerusalem until it was later changed to face Mecca instead. The change in the qiblah direction caused for a second Qibla to be created at this mosque, hence the name qiblatain (two qiblas). The original Qibla facing Jerusalem was removed however the name remains. Enjoy the pictures I took of this masjid during my trip to Medina.
