I just recently ate Turkish food at BlackSea Fish & Grill located off Queens blvd in Rego Park (Queens) New York. Upon entrance, the owner welcomed us and treated us warmly. I had a large group of 10 and they were able to accommodate us without any issues. We had a variety of food which included appetizers such as baba ghanoush, hummus, labneh, eggplant, etc. The appetizers were delicious and served with warm sesame bread. For the main course we had the lamb adana, chicken adana,Chicken kabob, lamb kabob lamb chops, and grilled chicken. All platters served with rice/salad. The meat flavorful was incredibly juicy and cooked perfectly. The char on the grilled meats was yummy.
We also had the falafel and it was not so good. I do not recommend getting falafel here. The baklava served at dessert was delicious, was a big syrupy but I like it that way.
I definitely recommend this resturant to anyone interested in Turkish food or middle eastern food. I am an Arab and the food is very similar to what my family makes. Check out the pictures below of the food experience.
